Midnight Bonding at SBC High Street

It is very unusual to see my sister-in-law, my brother-in-law and my husband to be in a mall and drink together. My husband told me it has been a long time since they had a gathering as this. So after the dinner with the family, we still decided to go for a walk and then we got tired and luckily my sister-in-law treat us some drinks at Seattle's Best Coffee at Bonifacio High Street. Here is the glimpse of our bonding. It is not only the 3 of them because I and my daughter are with them and my brother-in-law's girlfriend is with us, too! Coffee is good, ambiance is better than any SBC and we really had fun.

Birthday Beach Bumming at Burot Beach 2

Strike with a pose! Before we end the day, I decided to take a photo with my daughter. It was nice seeing her happy after minutes of crying and asking for her father's help because of the dirt in his feet.                     Swim Baby! Swim! We really want her to know how to swim, and sh has crying too loud because she was then afraid of the water. Hope to come back in here so she could practice more! Foot Cover  Good thing my husband borrowed this foot cover that is a great aid for me in walking through the sand. Sunset It was really nice to see this beautiful scene with the people you love. Birthday Beach Bumming at Burot Beach

I have read a lot of blog this past few months and a certain blog caught my attention, and the pictures as well. Burot Beach was in Calatagan, Batangas. I have read it was now owned by SM. I was captured by the beauty of this beach, aside from its affordable fare in going there. Getting off! We are now off to the beach. We rode a bus at Coastal Mall Provincial Bus Terminal. The trip was long, we advice you to travel early. My husband told me the bus was roaming around parts of Cavite and Laguna. Even in Tagaytay was a long trip, was traffic. Bus ride cost us around 160php . Calatagan was the signboard. This was the last bus stop and BSC bus was the only bus option there. Last trip is 4pm bound to Manila. Off to Calatagan We then spend the afternoon buying stuff at Calatagan Market. We bought meat and bottled water at the market. Someone offered us for a tricycle ride for 150php and we grab for it. We just ask his cellphone number so that we could contact him...

What my Korean Boss thinks about Filipino Employees?

I have here a list of what our Korean Manager thinks about us: 1. We always give time to family. He is saying the business is business, and we need to go to work even if our daughter/son is sick Work is separated from family matters. 2.We always say it is traffic if we came late. He said even if the wind is strong, even if there is a typhoon we need to be on time. Unless we met an accident, then that is a valid excuse. 3. Most of the Filipinos take advantage of their kindness, but not all. More to come.. Just busy this time though..

My Message for a FRIEND

God has a lot of plans for you Teacher Jane. Do not worry too much because it will make you feel weaker than what you think you are. Do not look more unto the future because God has a lot of plans for you TODAY. TODAY is important than TOMORROW, so struggle on the things that you can do TODAY than what you can do TOMORROW. Work as if you are a bird in the sky, for God has better plan for a person like you who strives hard just to earn a good future. Be thankful for all the trials that you have, because indeed that is His plan for you, so let it be. Always stay happy and remember that money or financial problem is not EVERYTHING. It is just SOMETHING. I will pray for you and for your success. -Teacher Lach

Giving Birth At Last in Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital: Expenses

As I recall the experience I had when I gave birth to Lanchiel, I have computed the fees we had way back November 2011. I hope it will help those mommies whose anxieties are high. I know and I have been there. I was confused. I did not know what to do. I was really anxious and I want to be out of my mind and my body. Pregnancy is really one of our anxious state. It is a phase of our life where we pray ten folds and keep our money hundred fold just to be prepared on this once in a lifetime event. I had here our breakdown of expenses in giving birth at Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital: Expenses: 1.)  2,500php   2,000php for Hospital Bill (3day stay at Charity Ward + Doctor's Fee) 500php discount                                    after an interview made by DSWD 2.) 3,500php for medicine treatment for Meconium Stain for 3days + Anesthesia & Dextrose while ...

Separation with your Kiddo

I have experienced the most painful thing that happened in my life. The pain is more than just being heartbroken during teenage years, separation from parents after choosing my husband, more than losing a friend. I have been with my daughter since she was born. I was also given up my teaching career in a Montessori School just to bear her in my tummy. I have also spent a year after giving birth just to take care of her and breastfed her 24 hours a day. Then I was given a chance to work since my husband lose his job. A lot of trials came into my life just to have her, and now given by chance, she was not here in our side. It is quite different not to have her. I have spent all my energy, love and time to work for her to have a good life. Good thing my husband is willing to take good care of our daughter while I am at work. Few months later, he grabbed the chance to take TESDA course at University of Makati. I am proud of my husband because he is not ashamed to bring with him our d...

A Pain for a Mother

I know that it is not the end of the world, but it feels like it is. Yesterday, September 1 Sunday, was one of the hardest time for my family. No one will take good care of my daughter that is why we decided to let her stay with my mother in Bulacan. I need to work for the family. And my husband needs to work, too. Last Friday he tried his chance to apply as a Computer Technician-slash-Computer Laboratory Teacher. His salary is below minimum and way beyond any salary. But he needs it for his OJT TESDA course and aside from it , it will help us support our finances. And yes, he accepted the job offer because I want him to, and our relatives want him to grab the opportunity. I want my mother to stay here, but a lot of people needs her. She spends her time in the church and serve as a cook slash person in charge in the parish. My husband and I decided to let our daughter stay there because many rely on my mother. And it is painful for a mother not to see your child grow ...

Getting Ready for School

My daughter Lanchiel, who will turn two this coming November, wants to go school. We just saw her holding a bag, had interest in books, pen and paper. She thinks she will go to school then. But ooopss.. it's not yet time to go to school baby. According to studies, proper age for a child should go to school is 4 to 5 years old because the child then is ready physically, mentally and emotionally. 2 to 4 years old is the time the child needs to play. That is why you will go first to Mommy's house and play with Ate Yesha and Kuya Drei. Play with them and enjoy your being child with them. We should not rush things baby.

Problems with Group Work

I am a bit stressed with group work. Why? Because of their overconfidence that you can make it, it seems that they became dependent on you. I think the observation of our professor is right. They want high grades, but they are not working on it. They are too confident some members can do it without their help. Reporting is a good thing because they can enhance our social skills, team work and creativity. u Bad thing is that not all are participating and willing to help. They can't even give their time, and they don't want to spend a penny from their pocket. What to expect with such nuisance!! I don't want to get mad to their action, but I am frank about my feelings. I am frank to say that they can't rely everything to 3 people, to think that we are 7 in a group. They are even telling, "Oh, I am busy with work", "I don't have time to open my email/facebook", "I have to go now, I am in a hurry, I don't have time for the meeting...
