Subjects that I had this semester are Prof Ed 2: Principles and Strategies of Teaching, Prof Ed1: Special Topics 1 (Child and Adolescent Development) and Prof Ed 3: Educational Technology. All of my classes are on Saturdays from 7 am to 4 pm. I hadn't enrolled in Field Study 1 because the classes will be Tuesdays, 6-9 pm. I have work to attend to, so I won't be able study that subject. So, if your concern is the tuition fee. It costs 10,000php, bu

Going back to School

Actually, this is a late post of mine. But not that late, LOL! I had my first class last Saturday. I was really looking forward for that day. By the way, I enrolled at University of Makati under the course Teacher Certificate Program, and I will talk more about the admission and the tuition fee on my next post. So last Friday, I arrived home late (around 12AM) because my work ends late LOL! And due to overexcitement that I felt that time, I fell asleep at around 1 in the morning. Thank God my spouse woke me up at around 6 in the morning, cooked rice and even prepared clothes to wear and things to bring; so sweet of him, right?  I was at the gate of the University of Makati when the Guard asked me where I was going and reminded me I should not wear slippers inside the school. My instinct suddenly asked me to made a white lie, told him I was about to visit the School Registrar. The reason why I lied is I don’t want my Certificate of Registration to be seen by the Gate Gu

Giving Birth At Last in Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital

Giving birth is really hard. You can feel the hardship physically, emotionally and spiritually. Not only the pain, but you could also feel fear. Fear of surviving you and your babies' life. November 15, 2011 (11-15-11, 6-9pm) I decided to go to East Rembo Lying-In Center. Since I expected that I will give birth normally, I decided to go there first. I waited the doctor for hours. Until she said I should come back the following day for another Internal Examination. Since I saw greenish discharge from my underwear and feel a hunch that my baby will come out,  I forced my husband to bring me to Ospital ng Makati. November 15, 2011 (11-15-11, 9-12am) We have a Yellow Card that is why we want to go at Ospital ng Makati. Being a Yellow Card holder entitles me not to pay any hospital expenses if it is 10,000php below. If above 10,000php, I will only pay 300php. I filled up a lot of forms, waited for the OB, had my ultrasound (for the -Nth time). Sadly, their Deliv

Work or Family

I am currently working in Ortigas, while my husband is staying at home. Our family is now growing, & my child is getting bigger, eats plentiful. I am now in the middle of thinking. I would like to take another part time to increase the family's income. It is easy to apply for a job, but I am worried about my daughter. There is a fear that holds me back. Lanchiel at 1.5 years old Fear that holds me back is the time that will pass by. I can earn a lot of money, but the time and moments will not be earned, and will be lost without being seen. For those Mommies like me, who is between Work or Family, let us continue choosing our Family. Family is all the we all have all our life. Work is temporary; it can be lost, we can change from one work to another. That is why I salute all the Mommies out there who choose their Family. Mabuhay Kayo!
